харчування.
Обладнання: підручник, зошит, картки, запис
пісні.
Хід уроку.
І. Початок уроку.
1. Привітання.
T: Good morning, children!
P: Good morning, good morning,
Good morning to you!
Good morning, good morning,
We are glad to see you!
T: I am glad to see you too! How are you today?
P: We are fine, thank you!
2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
T: Today we`ll continue speaking about food you eat at school. We`ll sing a
song, make some exercises, read the text about school meals and make dialogues
about a menu for your school canteen. So let`s start our lesson with
singing a song.
ІІ. Основна частина
1. T: Now we are going to read a poem about Tom`s tastes
and be ready to complete the chart about himself.
I like honey, I quite like cheese,
I prefer beans, but I don’t like peas.
I like coffee, I like tea,
I like you, do you like me?
T: Now complete the chart and answer my questions:
1. What does Tom like?
2. What does Tom quite
like?
3. What doesn’t he like?
4. What does he prefer?

2. T: Well done! Now we`ll read the text about school meals in Britain but before reading answer my questions:

usually have vegetable soup, potato and vegetable salad.

завдання) Open your books at page 59 and let`s read exercise 1.
(Pupils read the text about school meals). OK, now let`s agree or disagree with
the sentences concerning our text (ex.1(b) p.60)
T: Thank you a lot. Now let`s have a rest. Stand up please.

4 T: Imagine
you are in the school canteen. Here is the menu for today. Have a look at it. Answer my questions:
· What soup do they have
on the menu?
P: They have got vegetable soup and chicken soup.
· What dishes do they have
as main course on the menu? P: They have got meat balls,
fish, pasta and potato.
· What salads do they have
on the menu? P: They have
got vegetable salad and bean salad.
· What desserts do they
have on the menu? P: They have got
cakes, biscuits, pudding and fruit.
· What drinks do they have on the
menu? P: They have got
milk, juice and tea.
T: Using the information of the menu complete and act out the dialogues. Work
in pairs.

5 T: Well
done! Now again using the information of the menu do a survey, complete a chart
and be ready to speak about your partner`s tastes.
